friendly locally produced bio-fuels including Logs, Charcoal
and kindling bundles called 'Pimps'.
By buying these products you are supporting the sustainable
management of local woodlands in the Malvern Hills area.
These woodlands are managed using the ancient system of
coppicing, bringing light and warmth to the woodland floor
allowing flora and fauna to flourish. |

FIREWOOD
LOCAL LOGS IN HANDY BAGS
Convenient & local
firewood supplies
We supply logs in small,
manageable Handy Bags. These bags are re-useable which makes
them a better environmental alternative to netted bags of
logs. You can either buy a single bag or buy the equivalent
of a large pick-up load (50 bags) or half load (25 bags) at
a reduced price. The bags are particularly useful for the
elderly, if you have steps to negotiate or just don't want
the mess of a pile of logs.
All of our logs are either seasoned for one year or green
ash which is an excellent firewood, green or dry. Our logs
are
currently being sourced from Park Wood in West Malvern.

KINDLING BUNDLES, or
'PIMPS'
The ultimate in
sustainable and natural firelighters
Our Pimps are made from Birch cut
from the Malvern Hills as part of the effort to restore the
Hills to acid grasslands.Each pimp contains 25
individual bundles of birch twigs and kindling tied with
tarred string. Birch is full of natural flammable resins
which means a pimp makes the perfect firelighter, giving
enough heat to light your fire with which ever fuel you use
- logs or coal.

CHARCOAL
Our charcoal is made using sustainably coppiced wood from Park
Wood in West Malvern. We are restoring the woodland to produce
quality hazel for craft use whilst improving the habitat for
wildlife. Last winter over 700 new hazel trees were planted by
volunteers as part of this restoration. The poor quality timber
resulting from this work is converted into charcoal.
